Owatonna School District Recently Went Google
The Challenge
Owatonna Public Schools was looking for a way to better collaborate between students, faculty and parents.
The Solution
Owatonna School District made the decision to go Google. This change will officially begin for the upcoming 2018/2019 school year. Mike Halverson, the Director of Information Technology for the school district, knew they would need some training in order for it to be a smooth transition. When asked why he picked Tierney for the district’s Professional Development needs, Mike replied, “I knew the experience, both within the classroom and with Educational Technology that Tierney has. We believe that definitely Tierney was the right way to go, and we know they will be there in the future to provide additional training for us as we move forward.”
